Finding Your Game

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 11:22 am

It’s tough in the ever changing world of poker online to find a game you can consistently beat. When I first started playing online poker I was a winning ring game poker player when playing live. But I got online and couldn’t beat the games as easily. I couldn’t quite figure out what was going on so I did a little research, and decided to check out some of the other offerings. I mean, I’m a hold ‘em player through and through, and none of the other games were really that appealing, but I started playing PL Omaha Hi and was winning consistently in the ring games, but I got stuck at a certain level and kept having to move back down to the level I was at before. Finally I found my stride. I’m a multitabling single table (STT) Sit-n-go player now as a main game. The whole point of that story is to simply tell you that just because you’re not as good as you’d like to be at one game doesn’t mean there’s not a game out there for you. What it does mean is that if you’re looking to get serious about poker playing you need to find ways to find your game and play it as your main one. Everything you play besides that should be to get better in that area but not as your main bankroll builder.
