Last week we did an article on Hold ‘Em Manager. This week we have some exciting news to bring you about Poker Tracker, HEM’s most respectable competitor. In its newest iteration, Poker Tracker has introduced Omaha poker support, giving you the ability to save hand histories, track stats, and see your leaks in Omaha as well as in Hold ‘Em online poker . But some of the most exciting news is that Poker CoPilot, which used to be the sole Mac poker tracking client, now has some competition. Yes you read that right, poker tracker is adding Mac support in its next release. On top of the new OS support, Poker Tracker is looking to add more networks to support, including iPoker, on top of the already supported Full Tilt, Poker Stars and Party Poker networks. For owners of PT3 already, there will be a free 30 day beta trial for the Omaha version, though it doesn’t yet support a table tracker. However the PT development team is working on fix for this in the near future. That being said, if you’re looking for a lighter poker online tracking software program, or perhaps if you’re using an older computer that can’t handle Hold Em Manager, Poker Tracker 3 may be the way to go for many who are looking to gain an edge in the online poker world.
