Rolling Stones guitar strummer Ronnie Wood is to give a weekly radio show on UK Radio.The Rolling Stones Plundered My Soul single is released in the UK and USA soon. The band have had countless hit singles and albums but show no signs of stopping making music. The band continue to play live on a regular basis and are one of the richest music acts in the world.
The Ronnie Wood Show will broadcast on digital station profound Classic Rock on a Fri. night at 6pm and be repeated on downright Radio every Saturday at 10pm.
The radio station declared the guitar player would play music directly from his heart, as well as share his uniquely fascinating stories, experiences and memories with listeners. Tony Moorey, the downright Radio content director, said to the Guardian : “Think amazing music, and one man and his guitar in your living room, but that man being one of rock’s gods, Ronnie Wood. It isn’t regularly that we have a real chance to strike a radio relationship with a rock legend … The Ronnie Wood Show is that opportunity. ” Wood’s program, to be produced by independent production company Something’ Else, will start on Apr nine.
